About OSN LabBook
Research memory that can become trusted evidence.
Important context disappears when research is scattered across notebooks, cloud folders, spreadsheets, code, and messages. LabBook keeps the work connected so teams can understand what happened, why it happened, and what the evidence supports. Selected evidence can then enter the OmniScience Network verification workflow while private source records remain in LabBook.
Why we exist

OSN LabBook began with a simple observation: a final chart or conclusion rarely shows the failed attempts, method changes, source material, and decisions that made it meaningful.
LabBook gives researchers a practical daily workspace while building a structured evidence trail underneath. The same record can support reproducibility, collaboration, expert review, and clearer technical decisions without forcing every audience to read the complete notebook.
Its connection to the OSN Portal adds a controlled public-verification layer: projects can be linked, milestone and review actions can be hashed, and approved identifiers may later be anchored without copying private files or notes to a blockchain.

What Web3 means at OSN
Proof and coordination before financialization.
The current OSN Web3 layer is a verification and governance sandbox. It records canonical hashes for important research-network actions, supports optional test-wallet links, and prepares non-transferable scientific-governance credentials on Solana Devnet.
It does not mint project ownership, move investor funds, promise returns, or turn LabBook activity into tokens. Mainnet issuance and live marketplace functions remain disabled behind separate legal, product, and technical gates.
